Diploma in Youth Ministry

Two-Year Program (75 Credits)

Prepare yourself with Bible and ministry knowledge that can open doors to lay and volunteer ministry.

Students will benefit from instructors who have been involved or are currently involved in youth ministry. Those considering full-time youth ministry should enrol in the 4 year Bachelor of Arts in Ministry-Youth. This program is also available as a distance education course or as a 3-year BMin (see drop down on BAMYO page).

Courses revolve around:

  • Developing youth ministry skills
  • Developing strategies to work with youth in any context
  • Theology and Bible education applied to youth education

You will gain skills for any type of job that involves working with the youth demographic. Specific applications are:

  • Church Youth Worker
  • Camp Ministry Positions
  • Continue on to Bachelor of Arts in Ministry- Youth
  • Transfer into another four year degree at Prairie
