1) What is Hopin?
  • Hopin is an online events platform that allows you to experience a virtual conference with a mainstage, sessions, networking, and expos.

2) What are the major features of Hopin for GCC?
  • Stage – where you can stream the main speakers Ramez, Bill Zipp and The Great Commission Co-op.
  • Sessions – where the IMPACT groups will be able to interact with some of the speakers.
  • Networking – where students can interact with organizations’ reps through one on one video calls (can exchange info, set up meetings, etc.).
  • Expo – where you can explore over 15 organizations’ virtual booths.

3) Is it free? Do I need a ticket for GCC in advance?
  • GCC is a free event. You will need to register in advance to receive your general admission ticket. Prairie College students will have a specific ticket.

4) Am I able to connect to HopIn on my phone? Is there an app?
  • There is no dedicated app for desktops or mobile devices. HopIn can be used on phones or tablets through a web browser but works best on a laptop or computer.

5) Do I need a ticket for the break out sessions in advance? Are sessions only for students?
  • Sessions will mainly be for Prairie College students on Thursday morning break out times.

6) Who can I contact if I have questions during the conference?

We invite Missions Agencies, NGO’s, Businesses and Non Profit Organizations to present your organization and hiring opportunities to Prairie students through a virtual career fair taking place on the afternoon of March 25, 2021.
