Alumni Reunion

Alumni Reunion: September 23-26, 2021

All alumni are invited!

We welcome all alumni back to Prairie, along with the honoured classes of 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001. If we do not have your current contact information, please send it to alumni@prairie.edu or fill out our update form.

As of June 2021: REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
We continue to be hopeful for an in-person gathering for the Fall Alumni Reunion. Alberta will be fully open for events and gatherings as of July 1. However, for our brothers and sisters coming internationally, including the USA, we still need to pray. Canada will begin easing border restrictions beginning July 5th, and you can find out if you can enter from the government’s website.
We are still planning for a “HyFlex” version of the Reunion, meaning we hope to have alumni on campus and those who cannot travel here to be online to visit with classmates.

We welcomed the classes of ’60, ’70, ’80, ’90, and ’00 to an online style of the “Alumni Reunion Weekend” on Sept 24-27, 2020.

The classes visited via Zoom for two-hour periods to connect and pray for one another. These times were very special for the alumni to re-connect.

If you are an alumnus of one of these classes and you missed the visiting, email alumni@prairie.edu to request the recording.

Welcoming classmates of classes of ’69, ’79, and ’89 back to campus for the “Alumni Reunion Weekend” is one of the highlights of our fall term.

Headlining the reunion is our beloved tradition of Re-graduating the 50th-anniversary class where we bestow on them a “Degree of Honor,” recognizing years of faithfulness to Jesus. The pinnacle of this event was the class praying with and for current students. It was heartwarming to see young people linger long after the formalities were over, connecting with alumni and forging new friendships.

Welcoming classmates back to campus for “Alumni Reunion Weekend” is one of the highlights of our fall term. Members from the classes of ’68 and ’78 returned in September to celebrate their 50th and 40th graduation anniversaries. Rekindling friendships, celebrating milestones, and reviving memories were special moments for attendees.

We’re thankful to the class of ’68 for generously supporting a new sign for the “Rick Down Athletic Centre.” Together with friends, they raised $20,694. This was to honour classmate Rick Down who invested much of his life in students at Prairie but was called to his eternal home in 2002.

If you were unable to join us at the Re-Graduation of the 1968 class or would like to share with your family, click here to watch a recording of the program.
