Expanded Opportunities

Your training at Prairie College will provide you with a vital biblical foundation that will complement and enhance your future professional training. Depending on your choice of electives the Diploma in Bible can be structured to count as two years toward one of Prairie's four-year bachelor degree programs. You should also be able to transfer many of your credits to another school (you will need to confirm transferability requirements with them) and continue towards a Bachelor's degree in a large number of fields.

Carmen Imes Program Coordinator

For nearly 100 years, Prairie has been known for its focus on the Bible. Today Prairie offers more Bible courses in its core than almost any other college. Students have the opportunity for rigorous engagement with the entire Bible, paired with electives on a variety of related subjects.

If you sense a call to marketplace ministry or church ministry where a 4-year degree is not required, the Diploma in Bible is just the thing for you. In just two years' time you'll study through the entire Bible and gain a solid theological foundation for life and ministry. If you sense a calling to academic ministry, Bible translation, or Bible teaching in the church, you may stick around for the 4-year degree. At Prairie we prepare you for a lifetime of study and a lifetime of service. We're eager to encounter the God of the Scriptures with you. Come join us!

It's all about learning more about Scripture and really diving into it and growing closer to Christ through it.
This program is Biblical study. You dig into scripture in a deep way, especially in 2nd year, but you also have a great variety of electives to choose from that you will love! There is a lot of joy in learning when you get to choose what you study!
I really only have one goal as a student: to grow deeper with God; to learn about Him and study His Word, but then to take this knowledge further and apply it not only to my life but also to use that knowledge to encourage those around me as well.

Future Opportunities

The Certificate in Bible program will encourage you to know and be nourished by God through the Scriptures. It prepares a foundation for service, ministry and life. For specific career preparation, the Certificate in Bible program transfers into any of our other four year programs.

General 2
I look back on my time at Prairie and think: "If only I went there now; the campus is so alive these days." Then I remember that my Prairie experience, like anything in our faith life, really is as good as you allow it to be. For me, it was a safe haven in uncertain times, a source of refinement and my best friend forever factory. It was the place where Jesus met me often through the professors, my coaches, and the people within the town of Three Hills itself. I love where Prairie has come, and where it is going. As a mother, I am confident that anyone who attends is being well equipped to impact my son's world with the love of Jesus!
