"An Amazing Story of God's Love and Grace"
Arnold & Shirley were the Dean of Students.
Both born in 1936, yet in two different countries, Arnold and Shirley came to know the Lord in their late teen years through the ministry of Village Missions.
Arnold was 20 when he began his studies at Prairie, graduating in 1960. It wasn’t until 1964, following another period of study at Columbia Bible College, that he headed to Switzerland with Africa Inland Mission to study the French language.
Shirley spent time in her early adulthood attending the University of Greeley and Kansas City Bible College before she was accepted with GMU for Missionary work in Africa. In 1964 she also headed to Neuchatel, Switzerland to begin her French language study.
Their story of God’s faithfulness in their lives joined together as Arnold and Shirley were married in 1965. This “AMAZING STORY OF GOD’S LOVE AND GRACE” took them to Congo where they spent two terms working as some of the first missionaries to arrive after the Rebellion. Since returning to North America they have spent the past 30+ years serving HIS kingdom’s purpose!
