My Employment Background

After completing my B.Th, I taught English as a second language in South Korea for a year. When I came back to Canada I began my ministry journey, serving as a youth pastor in Woodstock, NB, for two years. My next role was Assistant Pastor of Life Care Ministries, working with seniors in Quispamsis, NB

I was also Administrative Assistant to the Ministries and Missions Director at the District Office of the Maritime District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada in Truro, NS. In this job I gained a great deal of experience through organizing events and camps and giving leadership to individuals as they served in their roles. I am also a worship leader. Sensing a need to expand my theological understanding, I left New Brunswick in 2013 and moved to Otterburne, MB, to began my Master’s degree.

My passion is to see people understanding themselves as integrated beings and caring for themselves in that way, connecting with God and each other through the ministry of the Word and worship. I am also passionate about individuals receiving sound theological teaching, as this deeply shapes beliefs about God and who He is, and it also shapes how individuals live out their lives in relationship to God and to one another.

For fun, I like to travel, read, play my guitar, and of course a little shopping every once and awhile is good for the soul.

As the current Director of Student Development for Women it is my deep desire that women understand who they are in Christ. I believe that as they understand that their identity is found in Christ, and that God has both created them in His image and stamped that image on them, they will know who God has called them to be
